Hello and welcome to this special New Year’s edition of Journey of the Master Podcast: Guidance for Living Your Highest Potential. I’m Sara Landon — and today’s theme is the perfect intention for kicking off a new year: dream bigger, live boldly. This January 2026 episode is also the doorway into a newly evolved Mentorship Program that expands more deeply into the same invitation — so you can hold this frequency not only for one month, but as the way you walk your mastery.

Humanity is calling all of us to dream bigger and embody our highest potential in a way that is even bolder than before. You are not here to play small or dim your light. You are not here to squeeze yourself into what you think other people expect of you, or into a narrow idea of “necessary responsibility.” You are here to create your life exactly the way you want it to be — and sometimes your bigger dreams are inspired the moment you let yourself go beyond who you thought you were supposed to be.

What Does Dream Bigger, Live Boldly Mean?

Dreaming bigger is not a hustle slogan. In this episode, Sara frames it as an essential part of expanding consciousness and living your highest potential. Living boldly means stepping into your life with courage, mastery, and wisdom — embodying the highest expression of your soul’s vision. It does not mean abandoning the things you feel responsible for. It means recognizing a radical personal responsibility: to live the life you came here to live.

This is a year of being bold. This is a year of living your mastery. Part of living mastery is to have a dream — and to know that that dream, or something better, is unfolding for you. You can enjoy the journey of becoming. You can enjoy the process of true creation. Energy is always guiding and supporting you, and each moment closes the gap between what was once a huge dream and what becomes the obvious, logical next perfect step.

Your desires are not random. They are truly guidance and inspiration from your soul that is guiding you into expansion and even greater joy.

Your Desires Are Not Random — Soul Guidance Into Expansion

Sara’s core reframe is simple and liberating: the desires in your heart are not accidents. They are guidance and inspiration from your soul, inviting you into expansion and greater joy. As you allow yourself to dream bigger and step more boldly into your life, you embody the highest expression of your soul’s vision. Begin by seeing how far you’ve come — especially if you identify with an awakening journey that required great change and courage.

Most of us look for clarity and certainty that we’re on the right path. Sometimes we think “the right path” means fitting what is expected of us. Dreaming bigger can feel risky precisely because it asks you to stop dimming yourself to match an outer template — and to trust the unique, special dream that is already yours.

Why Fear of Disappointment Shows Up When You Expand

Sara notices a common pattern: when people start dreaming a little bigger, a fear of disappointment pops up. What if you step into your highest potential and it doesn’t happen? That fear can keep you small. Her answer is direct: your dreams are in your heart for a reason. They are unique and special to you. As you dream bigger and live more boldly, you step into an even more expanded level of consciousness of what is truly possible — which may be beyond what you’ve ever imagined.

Your dreams are in your heart for a reason. They are unique and special to you.

Living mastery includes holding the knowing that the dream — or something better — is unfolding. That knowing lets you enjoy the process instead of white-knuckling the outcome. Inspiration may arrive as a new idea, or as something you witness in someone else’s experience and feel: I’d love that too — not as comparison or judgment, but as recognition of a potential that is available for you as well.

Sara’s Hay House Story — From Impossible Dream to Obvious Next Step

One of the clearest examples Sara shares is the desire to write and publish a book — a dream she sees often in her students. For her, that dream once felt enormous. She was in the corporate world. She studied spirituality deeply, but didn’t feel she had the “credentials.” The dream carried an added intensity: not only to be published, but to be a Hay House author, because Hay House teachers had been a huge part of her journey.

As her path unfolded, putting the wisdom into a book became the obvious, logical next perfect step. In a divinely organized set of circumstances, everything came together. For her very first book, she received an offer from Hay House without ever submitting a manuscript. A few weeks later, she received a deal to publish a second book with her dear friend Mike Dooley. What once seemed impossible became lived reality — and when she shared that story, countless students revealed the same dream: a book, an online business, a service offering their gifts to the world.

In the moment of inspiration, Sara didn’t know where to begin — and she didn’t realize she was already several steps ahead. That is the pattern she wants you to recognize in your own life: the dream may still look far away, while your passion is already walking you toward it.

You’re Already Several Steps Ahead

How do you know you’re already several steps ahead? Because you’re passionate about something. Because you’re curious and interested. Because you continually notice yourself thinking about it or talking about it. Those signals already tell you that you have taken steps toward dreaming bigger and living boldly. You may not see how it all comes together yet — and then there comes a moment when the next step is obvious, or when what once felt like a big dream is simply your reality.

Sara remembers being on a long phone call with a friend, talking for hours about spirituality and consciousness, and thinking: If I could just do this all day — have these conversations — that would be my dream. Fast forward: that is the experience she now gets to have. Dreaming bigger is not always about inventing something new from scratch. Sometimes it is noticing what already lights you up — and allowing that to become your life.

You know you’re several steps ahead because you’re passionate about something… that already tells you that you have taken steps towards dreaming bigger and living boldly.

Enjoy the Journey — Preparation, Not Delay

It is okay to notice there are steps between where you are and fully realizing the dream. Enjoy those steps. They are preparing you. Sara didn’t realize it at the time, but everything she was doing was preparing her to live the big dream and live more boldly. Habits that once felt like they kept you “safe,” or patterns of limitation and doubt, may come into the light. What used to sabotage or slow you down can now be seen as an opportunity: allowing what was unconscious to become conscious, observed, and seen.

Sometimes that means creating a new habit or a new way of being. Sara offers a powerful practice question: If you want to live your dream, how would your life be different if you were living it — now? Asking that expands awareness and consciousness. As your vision of what is possible expands — even beyond what you ever thought possible — you awaken to more. You live more consciously, more intentionally, and more aligned.

Redefine What Is Possible for You

Dreaming bigger is not about constantly having to imagine more. Sara personally loves morning meditation and visualization — tuning into the feeling of already living the dream in her heart — but she is clear: the deeper move is letting go of the limitations of why you believe it is not possible. Living a magical or miraculous life is about redefining what a magical, miraculous, or extraordinary life means to you. Dreaming bigger and living more boldly may simply mean redefining what living your truth means — and what once seemed bold becomes your way of being.

Your dream already lives within you — which is how you know it is already possible for you. You would not have the dream in your heart if you weren’t here to live it. You are here to have every experience you want to have. Maybe it wasn’t possible in the past for whatever reason — start redefining what is possible now. Look at the thoughts and stories that try to keep you from it (“I tried and it didn’t work,” “that was before I had responsibilities,” “I was so disappointed I don’t want to go there again”) and reframe them as potential and possibility.

Your dream already lives within you, which is how you know it is already possible for you.

We are each being called to dream bigger and live boldly — especially if you want to inspire, uplift, and empower others. Your personal responsibility to yourself is the way you uplift those you love. Whatever your dream leads toward — greater freedom, abundance, love, wellbeing — embodying it is what inspires. Sara uses a familiar personal-development mirror: you wouldn’t take relationship advice from someone in a terrible relationship. If your dream is a loving, harmonious partnership, the journey often begins with remembering you are the one you’ve been waiting for — shifting how you speak to yourself, which then shifts how love shows up around you.

Expand your vision beyond what you ever thought possible — not by visualizing harder or working harder at it, but by redefining what is possible for you. If it’s possible for anyone, it’s possible for everyone. If the dream is in your heart, it’s there for a reason. Enjoy the journey to it. Who you become in the process is the best part.

Inspired Questions for This Month — and Mentorship Session One

Sara invites you to take time now — and in the days and weeks ahead — to ask: What is the dream I have for my life? Notice the thoughts and stories that surface. Notice whether the dream is the same, whether it has evolved, or whether a new inspired dream begins to come into awareness as you keep asking. Think about what you love and what you’re passionate about. Back when her big dream felt impossible, Sara still noticed she kept returning to writing a book, being a spiritual teacher, and sharing this wisdom with the world.

One shift in the Mentorship Program is emphasizing inspired questions from a grander perspective. When you explore a question that opens higher awareness — instead of hunting for what’s wrong — you create from true creation. Journal or use automatic writing in sacred space. Ask: What does dreaming bigger mean to me — today, this month, this year? What does living boldly mean to me? As you explore answers already within you, and answers inspired from your soul or higher self, you step into higher potential and redefine what’s possible.

In the spirit of dream bigger and live boldly, Mentorship Session One (Wednesday, January 7, 2026) is a channeled session with The Council to support you in Expanding Your Vision Beyond What You Ever Thought Possible — with channeled activations and awareness for that exact invitation.
