The Council

This is a relatively common question. While any description that can be understood by the human mind is tremendously limited, the brief answer is: The Council is a collective of ascended master beings with a higher level of consciousness and a grander perspective of the human experience.

Originally summoned by Sara Landon’s asking to know her true purpose, they came forth over time as she allowed a greater connection with non-physical energy through a series of meaningful life events. Now The Council’s profound wisdom is expressed readily, as she simply relaxes and allows their perspective to dominate.

Since first appearing in written and spoken words, their messages have expanded in response to the asking of a much larger group. Their powerful teachings continually become richer and deeper as the collective listening audience experiences life and desires more.

The Council is here to remind us of our own wisdom, which we never intended to forget.

Sometimes spiritual terminology can be confusing or seem ungrounded.

If you are reading this, you almost certainly believe that there is more to life than what you experience with your physical senses. Perhaps you think of your unseen energy as a soul or higher self and that of a greater power as God, Source, or another name that resonates with you, or maybe even as an unlabeled being.

No matter what terminology someone may use, the non-physical forces moving in our world are known, felt, and expressed in a wide variety of ways. One of these is known as channeling.

Generally, channeling refers to the translation of higher consciousness and a greater perspective into language. It is a means by which non-physical energy communicates in our physical world. While not everyone deliberately receives infinite intelligence and translates it into words, that experience is not unlike many common occurrences in daily life.

Everyone opens up to broader perspective in unique, personal ways. There is no requirement of a specific process or even of the conscious awareness of what is happening! You do not have to meditate to get into such an expanded state, and you need not live on a mountain top to have a spiritually rich life.

At the heart of channeling is the ability to open up to something more than the limited human self. This happens in countless ways for us all the time and is often easy to recognize in creative expressions like writing, painting, dancing, and all artistic mediums. Such creativity is frequently referred to as inspired when it clearly seems to come from a much grander viewpoint.

Another great example of this occurs when athletes are in the zone. Still, there are many other instances of people opening up to a higher state of being that are easy to overlook because they are so normal.

Can you think of a time when you were just in the flow, when it felt like your day was magical and everything unfolded perfectly without any effort on your part?

Have you ever said something to someone that you know was brilliant but you had no idea where it came from or how you knew it was the perfect thing to say?

What about creating a delicious meal without a recipe or even a plan and having it turn out to be one of the best meals you have ever experienced?

Do you ever move through traffic so harmoniously that it is as if some part of you knows what all the other drivers are going to do before they do it?

These may seem like frivolous examples, but they illustrate that we are readily connected to our higher selves and the energetic source that we truly are. Channeling is merely allowing that aspect to express freely through us, and it really is a very normal thing.

Whether you clearly identify with any of these experiences or terms is not important. You can live in full connection with all that you are, a master in this modern world, without any labels.
