Hello and welcome to this edition of Journey of the Master Podcast: Guidance for Living Your Highest Potential. I’m Sara Landon — and this December 2025 episode offers a perspective that can change how you experience who you are, why you’re here, and how fun, joyful, and magnificent your life is truly meant to be. The theme is simple and radical: Earth is your playground.

Many of us carry a familiar spiritual story: Earth is a school. You’re here to learn lessons, pass tests, overcome obstacles, and earn enlightenment or realization. That framing may have served you — it once served Sara — especially when it helped you see that life isn’t happening to you but for you. And still she asks: what if Earth was never meant to be a school or a classroom at all? What if it is your playground — the Master’s Playground — as you remember yourself as the master and divine being you already are?

Playground is not a metaphor for being careless. It is a reframe of purpose. Sara points out that we came here to explore, to expand, to express all that we truly are, and to have experiences. The question becomes: are you here to learn lessons in order to evolve — or did you come to play while creating what you want to experience, expanding and evolving along the way?

When that perspective shifts, you stop drawing “lessons” to yourself as the primary currency of growth. You begin drawing a life in which Earth, this human experience, and this moment are your playground. Earth is your playground. Earth is the Master’s Playground. From that frequency, effort softens into ease, striving into thriving, and waiting into living fully now.

Most spiritual traditions offer some version of Earth-as-classroom: lessons, tests, and achievement on the way to “getting it right.” Sara honors that those ideas may have helped you reclaim meaning. Then she invites a whole new awareness. You didn’t come to climb a spiritual ladder, fix karmic wrongs, or prove you deserve joy. You came to experience expansion in physical form — to express, explore, and witness consciousness and love in ways that leave you in awe.

In a classroom, much is mandatory. In a playground, nothing is mandatory. You don’t have to go down the slide — you get to, if it’s fun. You don’t have to swing high — you get to, if that’s the experience you want. You don’t have to create abundance, write a book, or take every invitation — you get to when it aligns with the life you came to live. That is the difference between obligation and mastery.

One of the heaviest stories on the spiritual path is: I must prove I’m worthy. I must earn enlightenment. I must do something right before I’m allowed freedom, love, or the life I want. Sara’s counter-perspective is clear: enlightenment is a natural evolution, and you have always been infinitely worthy. Nothing you accomplish here can make you more infinitely worthy than you already are — and nothing that has happened can threaten that worthiness.

You may still choose differently. You may meet experiences that feel like tests. But the deeper invitation is to stop organizing your life around earning a seat at your own table. The number-one success principle Sara names for realization and enlightenment is this: you are everything you wish to be — you already are. It is not about fixing yourself. It is about integrating every part of you in your infinite worthiness and allowing yourself to be all that you are. When you do, everything changes.

Years ago — early in her channeling path — Sara felt constantly tested by a particular person who never seemed to show up for her. With the “Earth is your school” belief still active, she assumed it was a lesson. Using the automatic writing process she later taught in You Are a Channel, she quieted into her heart, held that there is only love and a higher perspective, and asked for guidance.

What came back was a turning point: it wasn’t about that person showing up for her. The question was, are you showing up for you? She had been waiting for someone else to show up so she could. When she began showing up for herself, the dynamic changed. That story becomes a teaching for the playground: nothing outside you is testing you. You’re not here to pass exams. You’re here to more fully, deeply, and intentionally become more of all that you already are.

Sara also shares a related automatic-writing insight that reframed karma and “past lives” for her: what if, as you awaken and summon your energy to serve you in this life, every aspect of you in any life experiences that same awakening now — because there is only the now moment? She invites you to play with that awareness without turning it into another hierarchy to climb.

True mastery, Sara says, carries no obligation. Everything is an invitation. Everything is an opportunity. Recording near the holidays, she noticed multiple invitations — an intimate dinner, a dancing party — and used them as practice: what experience do I want to have? Not what am I supposed to do. When life stops feeling like obligation — especially on the path of awakening, realization, and mastery — it becomes an invitation to the best thing going on anywhere: living as an awakened being on Earth.

Awakening, in her words, includes remembering: you are not the lack, limitations, circumstances, or conditions you’ve experienced. You are a divine, eternal being having a human experience. You are everything you wish to be — already — and you are witnessing your own becoming: joy, love, peace, abundance, wellbeing, and freedom that have always been here for you. Earth becomes a playground of expression — exploring consciousness, expressing through energy, experiencing creation. You are your own greatest creation.

When you stop needing to judge everything as right or wrong, life reveals itself as potential and possibility. No one needs to be right at someone else’s expense. Sara uses simple analogies: if Earth is your playground and you could choose any next meal, we wouldn’t all choose the same thing — and that doesn’t make other preferences wrong. Some people love a live stadium; she’d rather watch at home. You get to choose.

If the whole Earth-as-playground idea still feels big, start where it feels good. Play in the snow. Make a snow angel. On a sunny day, gather nature’s beauty, paint “love” on a rock, create something just because. You didn’t come to figure it all out and fix it all. You came to create the life you want to live. Feel into: I chose this magnificent life. I chose to be on Earth at this time. I’m here to have the experiences I want to have.

Awareness always comes first. A new perspective can feel like truth before you’ve fully lived it — and that is how creation works. You perceive differently; consciousness shifts; experiences follow. Then knowing replaces mere hope. Sometimes the hardest part is believing something is possible for you when you’ve never experienced it. Sara’s invitation for this season: the next level is here — joy, freedom, creativity, love, abundance, wellbeing — and it is stepping into you if you allow it. All that’s asked is to show up and see how it feels.

Sara tells of an invitation to a place she’d never been. Energy kept saying go until it became choiceless — easy, effortless, harmonious. She showed up without forcing right or wrong, simply noticing how she felt. When doubt arose, she used a practice she loves: stop, breathe, get present without judgment, and from curiosity ask, What is this doubt really about? Let it come to the light. Often the doubt passes. She jokes she couldn’t spiritually bypass if she tried — daily life keeps offering chances to breathe instead of react and ask what something is really about.

The most important consciousness shift she names for instantly stepping into the next level and seeing Earth as your playground is the energy of: I know who I am. Nothing needs to follow that sentence. Or it may become I am — I know I am a soul, a divine being, the creator of my reality, source, consciousness and light. Your conditions may not yet reflect that knowing. The more you hold I know who I am, the more life reorganizes. Things become easier, clearer, more joyful.

You’re not here to get it right — and you can’t get it wrong. You’re here to have the experiences you want to have. You’re here to create something extraordinary, and you are your own greatest creation. You didn’t come to fix yourself; you came as infinite perfection. Mastery is reconnecting to wholeness and playing with your energy, consciousness, and possibilities. You are free. That is living heaven on Earth.

In automatic writing — again the process she teaches in You Are a Channel — Sara received: you are love made manifest, and everything in your life is your love made manifest in physical form. If you don’t know what you want or what “next level” means, look around. Your car, bedroom, house, office: is there anything you don’t love? Ask why it’s there. If Earth is your playground and you get to choose, is it time to let it go — donate, release, clear the closet? Getting ready for the next level often begins by aligning your environment with what you love.

Notice whether the thoughts and stories you tell yourself are loving. As you embody that, joy and ease reflect back. Keep playing with the core question of this episode: is Earth a school where you learn lessons to evolve — or did you come to play and create the experience you want, evolving along the way? If the basis of your life is expansion, expression, exploring, and chosen experience, Earth truly becomes your playground — and you live an extraordinary life even when you don’t know how.
