November 2026 – Open to Abundance

Abundance is everywhere — the question is whether you are open to receive it. In this November 2026 Journey of the Master Podcast episode, Sara Landon shares the mindset shifts, receiving practices, and appreciation games that help you open to abundance and experience unlimited prosperity, joy, and freedom.

Key Takeaways from This Episode

  • Abundance is the ability to do, create, and experience what you want when you are inspired to — it includes money, and also time, love, freedom, connections, and possibilities.
  • Replace “I can’t afford it” with “I’m choosing to spend my money on other things at this time.” It keeps you in your power and open to abundance.
  • The energy of giving and the energy of receiving are one. Most people don’t need to give more; they need to open to receive.
  • Deep appreciation is “the abundance game”: notice all the people and energy behind everything you enjoy.
  • Most people’s first memory of money is “there’s not enough” — a belief, not the truth.
  • Sara’s favorite affirmation: “Galore, galore, I have everything I need and more.”
  • The instant manifestation of allowing is joy — go do what brings you joy.
  • You can’t just get rid of an old habit of lack; create a new habit that feels so much better.

How do you open to abundance? In the November 2026 episode of Journey of the Master Podcast, Sara Landon teaches that abundance is already everywhere — we simply get stuck seeing lack and limitation instead. Her November message, Open to Abundance, offers practical shifts: speak in a way that keeps you in your power around money, be willing to receive, practice deep appreciation, and come into alignment with the truth that you have everything you need and more.

Sara explains that the very word opening is the action: as you become aware of the infinite abundance that is the truth of you, you begin to release the limitations you have around receiving and tune in to the infinite potentials around you — so you can allow unlimited prosperity, unlimited joy, and unlimited freedom.

What Is Abundance?

From Sara’s perspective, abundance is the ability to do what you want to do when you want to do it, to create what you want to create when you’re inspired to create it, and to have the experiences you want to have. It absolutely includes money. It also includes resources, time, love, freedom, connections, and possibilities.

We often limit abundance to money, Sara says, when the most abundant experience might be a connection that money can’t even buy. She has seen one introduction collapse the time and the money she thought something would take, because that connection, potential, or possibility was simply there.

Shift Your Money Mindset: “I’m Choosing” Instead of “I Can’t”

The number one thing people think keeps them from their biggest dreams is money. So Sara begins by asking you to notice the thoughts you think and the words you say that go directly against the abundance you want to receive. Be impeccable with your thoughts and words for one month, one week, or even one day.

The $300 massage

Sara shares the story of a client who defined a life of greater freedom as being able to go to the spa once a week for a massage. She said she couldn’t afford it. The massage she wanted was $300, and at that moment she had $3,000 in her bank account, with bills and rent coming due. Her reasoning was understandable — and yet the truth was she had ten times the amount of money the massage cost.

Sara’s mindset shift is to change the language:

  • “I’m choosing to spend my money on other things at this time.”
  • “I’m choosing not to allocate my financial resources towards that at this time.”
  • “I’m choosing not to spend money on that at this time.”

That’s a choice, Sara says, and it’s empowering. It allows you to stay in your power and stay open without saying you can’t.

When what you want shows up anyway

Once you make this shift, Sara says, don’t be surprised when things start showing up in amazing ways. She once wanted a massage, had the money, and hadn’t taken action — and her neighbor gave her a gift certificate for a massage out of the blue, for a favor Sara had done months earlier. Either the money comes, she says, or something even better.

Open to Receive: Giving and Receiving Are One

The energy of giving and the energy of receiving are one.

Most of us are wonderful givers, Sara notes. What most people need is to open to receive. When a friend who just got a promotion offers to treat you to dinner, can you take a breath, go into your heart, and simply say “Thank you”? Notice where you block receiving — perhaps because you think you’re not worthy, or that it isn’t fair.

The grocery store story

A few years ago, a gentleman bagging Sara’s groceries offered to help her to her car. Her habit was, “Oh, no, I got it. I can do it all myself.” She noticed a story that she was inconveniencing him, took a breath, and said yes. When she offered him a $20 bill, he told her he loves when customers let him carry their groceries out, because he gets to go outside in the sunshine. The story she had been telling herself was simply not true.

These are simple examples, Sara says, but they have big impacts. If you want to live your biggest dreams, you have to be open to receive — and know you are worthy of that abundance. You are here to thrive and flourish.

The Appreciation Game: Seeing Abundance Everywhere

Sara takes gratitude one step deeper with actions you can practice. In the produce aisle, appreciate everyone who grew, harvested, loaded, and drove those fruits and vegetables to the store; the person who stocked the shelves at 5:00 or 6:00 AM; and the business owner who took the risk and manages payroll and employees. At a restaurant, think of the people who set the tablecloths, washed the dishes, bought and cooked the food, and are serving you.

That’s the appreciation game. That is the abundance game.

Every leaf is a $100 bill

One of Sara’s favorite abundance games is to look at a tree and imagine every leaf is a $100 bill. Start counting the leaves and feel it as the infinite abundance that is here for you — if you needed $500, you could pick five leaves. That, she says, is the best example she can give of how infinite abundance actually works: it is always available and all around you in every moment.

Release the Belief That There’s Not Enough

If you go back to your very first memory of money as a child, Sara says, most people find the first thing they learned was that there’s not enough — not enough to do what you want, have what you want, or live your dreams. She suggests that memory may have been so upsetting precisely because some part of you knew you were living in an infinitely abundant universe.

There is more than enough, and there will always be more than enough. Sara believes that with innovation and technology we are going to live in higher levels of abundance than ever before — but not if you aren’t open to receiving it, don’t think you’re worthy, or keep your perspective on “there’s not enough.”

“Galore, Galore”: Sara’s Favorite Abundance Affirmation

Galore, galore, I have everything I need and more.

Some people worry that if they say this, they won’t get any more. Sara says the opposite is true: the more you come into alignment with it, the more you will have and receive, because you are no longer in resistance to a belief that there’s not enough.

At the core, she teaches, you are everything you need and more. The resources, money, connections, time, and love you have are an extension of who you are. You have the power in every moment to elevate your consciousness and allow your energy to serve you — that is where intuition, inspired action, creativity, and inspiration come from.

The Instant Manifestation of Allowing Is Joy

Can you manifest abundance by sitting in your living room focusing on it all day? Yes, Sara says — but that’s not really the point. Focus on opening up and receiving, get into the feeling of what you want to experience and create, and then go do what brings you joy. That’s when and where abundance shows up.

Look for ways to give, too — not in order to receive, but because giving brings you into the vibration of receiving. Sara loves making arrangements from her rose garden and leaving them at the door of a friend’s mother; it costs nothing and brings her so much joy. And if you feel you don’t have the money to create what you want, go create anything — bake something, or make something with things in nature.

How to Open to Abundance Every Day: Practices from This Episode

  • Watch your words. Swap “I can’t afford that” for “I’m choosing to spend my money on other things at this moment.”
  • Say yes to receiving. When someone offers to help or treat you, take a breath and say “Thank you.”
  • Play the appreciation game. Notice every person and all the energy behind what you enjoy.
  • Count the leaves. Imagine each leaf on a tree is a $100 bill and feel how available abundance is.
  • Use the affirmation. “Galore, galore, I have everything I need and more.”
  • Receive before you pay. When a bill arrives, take a moment to appreciate what you received in exchange, then pay it from that place.
  • Replace old habits. Notice habits of lack — stressing over a bill, “I can’t,” “I can do it all by myself” — without judgment, and choose a new habit that feels good.
  • Go do what brings you joy.

Receiving the bill with appreciation

Sara shares a tip she learned from her friend Mike Dooley, with whom she co-created the book The Dream, the Journey, Eternity, and God. Years ago, when Mike didn’t have much money, he would say “Good thing I’m a rich man” whenever a bill arrived. When Sara recently received a higher-than-normal power bill, she paused to appreciate the air conditioning on hot days, heating the pool for visiting family, and watering her landscaping — and then paid it from that place. That, she says, is real gratitude and real appreciation.

As you open to abundance, Sara adds, you naturally want to give more and create a greater impact. She recently donated her airline miles so someone she loves could take a trip that lit them up. When you are living your dreams, you will want to uplift others.
